It always takes some time before it’s safe to show some more background to certain projects. To me, the concepts and the sketches are often the most interesting part of a project to see. There is still some exploration to see in visual direction, looking for the right vibe, and finding the connection with the brand and the clients wishes.
For TCL, we collaborated really close with animation studio Cirkus. The TCL brand is chinese and targets the market in China. It soon became clear chinese have a different view on form and color which is quite interesting for sure.
